Funding for the Eucor MobiLab Roadshow 2027

The Eucor MobiLab Roadshow 2027 is receiving support from the cross-border fund “Knowledge Creates Society in the Upper Rhine Region.” In 2027, the mobile science initiative of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) will once again travel to cities across the Upper Rhine region, bringing research and innovation within reach of a broad audience.

Following its first cross-border tour in 2023, the new edition will focus on sustainability and health, creating opportunities for direct dialogue between science and society. The project is jointly supported by KIT and its partners Eucor – The European Campus, the University of Basel, the University of Strasbourg, the University of Haute-Alsace, the University of Freiburg, Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, and Trion-climate e.V.

Around €26,000 in co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and approximately €8,500 in Swiss funding from the cantons of Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft are earmarked for the project. The “Knowledge Creates Society in the Upper Rhine Region” fund is supported by the Science Pillar of the Trinational Metropolitan Region Upper Rhine and co-financed by the European Union through the Interreg Upper Rhine programme. It supports cross-border projects that make scientific knowledge accessible and strengthen dialogue between science and society.

The current call for proposals is open until March 2027. The next submission deadlines are 15 October 2026 and 15 March 2027.
