Members of the Eucor universities have access to all partner libraries and their collections. They benefit from over 15 million items, modern study spaces and cross-border services.

Digital resources:

  • Access to all digital media licensed by the University of Basel is available at dedicated research stations. To use these, you must register at the Info Desk (please present your library card).

Borrowing and library Card:

  • Issued at the information desk upon presentation of a valid ID card and a university student or staff card
  • Pre-registration recommended
  • The library card also entitles you to borrow items from the more than 500 Swiss libraries affiliated with the SLSP network.

  • Documents published before 1950 may be consulted on-site only. Master's students and below may borrow up to 30 items for one month, renewable twice for an additional month each time. Researchers from doctoral level onwards may borrow up to 50 items for two months, renewable twice for an additional two months each time.
